Pick The Right Study Environment

For any child to have success when doing homework or studying for an exam, there has to be an area clear of any distractions that they can use to take care of all their work and not have to worry about interruptions. Interruptions such as loud music, television, electronics, video games and similar items could cause a child to stop their tasks and do something that's not as productive. This hinders their abilities to take care of the tasks at hand which will prolong their homework and study periods.

The perfect kind of area would allow for quiet so that the child can focus solely on the work in front of them and the only electronic devices around should be needed and used for their homework or studying only. If the work requires the use of a calculator or internet research, that is fine, but any other usage should be prohibited. Finally, the area needs to be lighted well and spacious so that it isn't difficult to get from one task to the next and the child can see everything properly.
